Exams for schools

YLE (Young Learners English), available at three levels: YLE exams are an ideal introduction to public examinations for school children and provide a strong foundation to students for International English. There are 3 levels of the YLE exams:

  • YLE-Starters (suitable for students of Class 1 and 2)
  • YLE-Movers (suitable for students of Class 3 and 4)
  • YLE-Flyers (suitable for students of Class 4 and 5)
  • KET for School (Key English Test for Schools):

  • KET for Schools is a certificate that shows a pupil can deal with everyday written and spoken English at a basic level and can be looked as a good fit for students of Class 6 and 7 and is mapped to A2 level on the CEFR

  • PET for School (Preliminary English Test for Schools):

  • PET for Schools are mapped at B1 on the CEFR, and is suitable for students studying in class 7 & 8, is a certificate that shows a pupil can deal with everyday written and spoken English at an intermediate level.

  • FCE for School (First Certificate in English Test for Schools):

  • FCE is the most widely taken Cambridge ESOL examination, mapped on the B2 on the CEFR. Success at FCE enables learners to use their language skills for many practical purposes, including business and study. It can be taken by students of classes 9 to 11
